CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

All classes focus on preparing a piece to be performed for the Showcase at the end of the session. The classes are designed to teach each student the process, discipline and fun of developing a strong, creative theatre piece. Each of these pieces is created by the School Faculty with the goal of including each student and encouraging them to grow. We offer a professional environment where the students are treated as fellow artists. All students are expected to commit to doing their best by arriving to each class prepared and ready to create. Respect for the work and for fellow artists makes great theatre!

ALL STUDENTS MUST PARTICIPATE IN THE SHOWCASE. Theater is a team sport. If one person is missing it greatly affects the rest of the group. When you register your child for the session you make a commitment to the Showcase.

Students will learn scene study, staging, creating a character, voice, improvisation, dance/movement, performance technique and more!
